EMI won for Claim Sites Bluebeat.com
EMI record company eventually won a lawsuit against the site download the song by The Beatles.
Earlier this month the EMI record company was furious with one U.S. song download site called Bluebeat.com. Through their lawyers, demanding Bluebeat.com EMI for providing the download service songs of legendary band The Beatles for 25 cents.
Based on the information cited from TG Daily, Saturday (october/7/2009), EMI said Bluebeat.com not have the authority to sell the content and Beatles songs are released.
In the meantime, Bluebeat.com claim that their site is not offering tracks the Beatles original, but the materials ‘psychoacoustic Simulations’.
The lawyer said that psychoacoustic Bluebeat.com Simulations is a new technique that produces the sound of music similar to the original version, but differs in certain respects, including copyright protection.
But in the end, Judge John Walter in Los Angeles District Court ordered Bluebeat.com to stop selling songs sung EMI artists.
