Rupert Murdoch will Block Google
Media conglomerates, Rupert Murdoch said would block the Google search engine. Later, the media, Murdoch’s media following content will not enter into the Google search index.
Born March 11, 1931, said blocking step is part of an effort to encourage people to pay for online content. In an Murdoch interview with SkyNews Australia, steps will be applied to the media his first, like The Times, The Sun, and the Wall Street Journal.
A few months ago, Murdoch had been shot spicy statements to Google that he regarded as parasites and Kleptomania. The reason is, Google often include stories of other people, including the Google News page.
“I think we’ll get rid of Google, but shortly after we apply the collection cost to society, we are ready to begin the Wall Street Journal. We’ll limit. You will be every first paragraph of the story, but if you are not a customer WSJ.com You only get that paragraph and the registration form, “Murdoch said as reported by the Guardian, Monday (november/9/2009).
Currently, customers who click on WSJ.com via Google’s search results can still read the news in full at WSJ.com. But the future, readers will be able to access it again.
The plan, collecting fees for online newspapers will be applied in 2010. But a number of news mentions that the plan would be delayed. “I never promised when we’ll apply,” said Murdoch.
“Google, Microsoft, Ask.com, are not supposed to get everything for free all the time,” said Murdoch.
