Microsoft Patch equals record with 13 updates
Microsoft plans 13 security updates to 9 issues in February, the corresponding entry in October 2009, the largest number will continue to be published in the same spot on Tuesday.
Affected software includes Windows (7, 2000 and XP), Windows Server (2001, 2008 and 2008 R2), Microsoft Office (XP, 2003 and 2004 for Mac). Allocated five of the updates, including two for Windows 7, “critical”, seven “critical” and “moderate”.
This contrasts sharply with the January patch Tuesday, when a security update from the emergency team to update Internet Explorer may follow published in this month. Feb. 13 update posted on the Establishment of a total of 26 vulnerabilities, compared with 34 to run the same number of updates in October 2009.
