Samsung and Microsoft’s Commitment to “Green Computers”
Samsung and Microsoft have agreed to work together to support the computer action ‘green’ in order to provide efficient use of energy.
Both companies expressed their commitment to collaborate on providing energy efficiency in the use of computers in the world. Even Samsung and Microsoft will push the PC user to want to buy computers products that efficient energy.
as I4u launched on Monday (october,2,2009), Samsung hopes to work together, the two companies can save energy consumption of computers a user substantially, with the collaboration of the Windows 7 operating system and 40 nanometer class Samsung DDR DRAM 3.
In early September, Samsung took the initiative to conduct a campaign to “saving-energy and added-speed ‘through the 40 nm DDR3 DRAM 2GB size.
Samsung DDR3 40 nm claimed by Samsung as memory and computer servers that are categorized as the most environmentally friendly for use by customers around the world.
This device can save energy up to 60 percent over DDR2 60nm. Samsung DDR3 available capacities ranging from 1GB to 4 GB and is designed to be compatible with any operating system, including Windows 7. Samsung also announced that their company’s computer will begin to migrate to new software in 2010.
